Death Cab From Cutie’s entire output during their years on Barsuk Records will be compiled in a new vinyl box set. The Barsuk Years contains eight records from the band’s 1997 cassette-only “demo” You Can Play These Songs With Chords through their 2003 critical and commerical blockbuster (and final release on Barsuk) Transatlanticism.
Everything aside from Transatlanticism was remastered by Roger Seibel at SAE, and three of the releases – You Can Play These Songs With Chords, 2000’s Forbidden Love and 2000’s The Stability — are available on vinyl for the first time.
Each release is packaged individually in its own jacket with the album’s original artwork, and then collected in an individually-numbered cloth-bound box and signed by the band.
