The soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino’s latest opus, Django Unchained, is all over the place. There’s a mashup of Tupac and James Brown, along with compositions from John Legend, Anthony Hamilton, and Academy Award winning composer Ennio Morricone, aka the King of Spaghetti Westerns.

There’s also a collaboration between the film’s star Jamie Foxx and rapper Rick Ross, entitled “100 Black Coffins”. Foxx whipped together a foreboding beat that seems perfect for one of those brutal montages — something of a trademark in Tarantino’s work. Listen below.

The Django Unchained soundtrack arrives in stores on December 18th (pre-order here). The film premieres in theaters Christmas Day (December 25th).
