Las Vegas will serve as host to a new music festival in fall 2013. Another Planet, the promoter behind Outside Lands and Treasure Island, has joined forces with marketing groups MAKTUB and Rehan Choudhry to launch the Life is Beautiful music festival.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the two-day festival promises “top acts, artists and culinary outlets in venues across downtown at a ‘really affordable’ rate.” Organizers have yet to piece together the inaugural lineup, but hope to book “arena size” headliners. Tickets are expected to go on sale in spring or early summer.
