Indie-pop quartet Alt-J follows up their recent Mercury win with an inclusion on the soundtrack to David O. Russell’s critically-acclaimed, Oscar-contending dramedy, Silver Linings Playbook. Featuring background vocals by Vermont folk trio Mountain Man, “Buffalo” is a snappy indie delight that sounds straight out of a snappy indie film that’s delightful. Quite fitting then for one starring the always hilarious Bradley Cooper and the always adorable Jennifer Lawrence, right? Check it out below.

The soundtrack, which also includes Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Alabama Shakes, and a score by Danny Elfman, hits stores November 19th. The film, however, arrives in select theaters November 21st. Check out its trailer below.
