As previously reported, experimental noise gurus Tim Hecker and Daniel Lopatin (AKA Oneohtrix Point Never) will unveil their collaborative album, Instrumental Tourist, on November 20th via Software. “Intrusions” follows their recent jam “Uptown Psychedelia” as the second mind warp off the release, working off of radio catastrophes and a shower of synths. To accompany the track, the two have commissioned a new video that finds an unknown driver exploring the desolate streets of sprawling metropolises world over. Buckle in and start cruising below.

Instrumental Tourist will be the first in Software’s SSTUDIOS series, which according to a press release, “invites artists in the field of electronic music to create collaborative works of quality and vision.” For this release, the Hecker and Lopatin aimed to record in the style of jazz-based improvisation, planning little ahead of their studio time.
