The 13-track effort comprises remixes of tracks from her latest LP Biophilia by superstar producers Hudson Mohawke and Matthew Herbert, Arab musician Omar Souleyman, and even Death Grips. Dinosaur Jr. are streaming their new live album, Chocomel Daze (Live 1987), at RecordStoreDay.com. The 11-track effort captures a 1987 performance in the Netherlands during the band’s first European tour. The limited release will be issued on 150-gram vinyl on November 19th via Merge.
Experimental noise gurus Tim Hecker and Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, are streaming their new collaborative album, Instrumental Tourist, at NPR.org. The 12-track effort was born from Hecker and Lopatin “[designing] a sound palette from the acoustic resonance of digitally-sourced ‘Instruments of the World.’” Due out November 20th, it’ll mark the first release in Software’s SSTUDIOS series, which “invites artists in the field of electronic music to create collaborative works of quality and vision.” Pre-order your copy here.
