Purity Ring have dropped an awe-inspiring, new video supporting their latest LP Shrines. Directed by AG Rojas, “Lofticries” expands on the sifting electronica by transferring from one lucid dream to another. It’s jarring yet tranquil in the sense that although each character stumbles upon something threatening, they always seem about two steps away from any actual danger. Rojas, however, stated that the video “[explores] the stoicism of psychically connected characters confronted by surreal, climactic moments.” Find out what that means below (via Pitchfork).
