A bunch of musicians (and Johnny Depp) gathered in Los Angeles last night to celebrate Tom Petty. According to RollingStone.com, Petty Fest featured two-and-half hours’ worth of Petty cover songs performed by members of the The Strokes, Eagles of Death Metal, and Albert Cross, in addition to Jesse Malin, Nicole Atkins, Cory Chisel, and more.
The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney and Ke$ha also showed up, joining Keith Richards’ doppelganger for a rendition of “Last Dance With Mary Jane”. Watch the fan footage below.
