Frank Ocean appeared last week at New York City’s Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, where Spotify held a press conference to detail their future endeavors. While there, Consequence of Sound’s Artist of the Year performed a small set, which included a cover of Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees”. Catch the short, albeit sweet, fan footage below (via Pitchfork).

This video demonstrates the decay of the modern performance. There is a drowning crowd noise the entire time, and most of the people don’t even care what’s going on. The ease of finding new and good music has cheapened it and brought a bigger yet albeit a worse audience to shows. If you want to drink and run your mouth go to a bar.

I don’t get the buzz surrounding Frank Ocean, his music sounds like X Factor wishy washy crap and his voice does too. His entire vocal performance I find so R Kelly and boring it doesn’t half kill a song like this.

Wish I could hear him perform the full song.

Well that was kind of heart-achingly beautiful.
