Marnie Stern is already the frontrunner for 2013′s Best Album Title. As SPIN.com reports, the New York City singer-songwriter will release her fourth LP, The Chronicles of Marnia, on March 19th via Kill Rock Stars.
The album was recorded over three weeks this past May in Brooklyn’s Rare Book Room Studio. It marks her first release sans drummer Zach Hill (of Death Grips fame), but also her first go-around with a producer. ”This time,” she insists, “I was trying to focus on songwriting. Not guitar playing.”
