New Music: Blink-182 – “Boxing Day”

By Michael Roffman on December 10th, 2012 in New Music, News

Blink-182 has dropped their first new song since last year’s Neighborhoods. “Boxing Day” is off their forthcoming Christmas EP, dogs eating dogs, and finds bassist Mark Hoppus “empty like the day after Christmas / Swept beneath the wave of your goodbye.” It’s supported by a jovial acoustic swing that’s no doubt from a nearby sulking Tom DeLonge. So, if you’re feeling blue when everyone’s feeling green, red, and silver — consider this your pop-punk medicine.

dogs eating dogs contains five new compositions, marks their first independent release, and will be available in three Christmas-themed packages beginning December 18th. Pre-orders are currently underway at their official site.
