Mark Oliver Everett, aka Eels, may be gearing up to release Wonderful, Glorious early next year, but he’s still found time to pursue another project: Cirque du Soleil. No, Everett isn’t running away to start a career as a tumbler or juggler; rather, his song “Calling For Your Love” scores the main title sequence to the James Cameron-produced Worlds Away, a 3D adaptation chronicling the Canadian touring troupe’s fantastical productions. The song itself is an emotive acoustic ballad, acting as a calming ode to yearning love, before immersing viewers into the high octane gymnastic extravaganza.

Wonderful, Glorious hits stores on February 5th via Vagrant Records/E Works, and you can already stream the explosive album cuts “Peach Blossom” and “New Alphabet”. Pre-order the entire album here
