“Can you spare a little grace?” Ólöf Arnalds modestly asks on “Treat Her Kindly,” the first single off her upcoming third album, Sudden Elevation. On one of her few English-language songs, the Icelandic singer and multi-instrumentalist isn’t pleading for world peace or to end all wars. With her vocals lilting and lulling amidst a warm and gentle stream of strumming, she is looking for something so much simpler: she just wants us to all get along.
