Brooklyn indie pop outfit RAILBIRD unleashed their Lucky EP just over a month ago, and the tracks from that slinky, twitchy bundle continue to worm their way into many a subconscious, as evidenced by the School of Seven Bells remix of “Mirrors”.

The original’s blend of skittering Deerhoof guitar smash-ups, rap-clatter percussion, and Sarah Pedinotti’s chopped vocals made for a triumphantly jittery cut. But SVIIB has methodically slowed things down, ripping out the vocal line and dropping it into a dreamy pool of contemplative reverberation and airy synth. Download it below.
