If The-Dream is to be believed (and as the paragon of sensuality he surely has the credibility), then frequent collaborator/pop diva extraordinaire Beyoncé will have new music out before she performs at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show.
“I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here,” The-Dream told Billboard, adding he’s involved in every aspect of Bey’s fifth album. “She took the summer to start recording, and now she’s in a place where she’s ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.”
Madonna employed a similar tactic for her performance at Super Bowl XLVI, releasing “Give Me All Your Luvin'” mere days before the big game. And with Bey’s HBO documentary also dropping sometime in February, the likelihood of new music is looking as good as she did in the music video for the charity single “I Was Here”, which you can watch below.
Super Bowl XLVII takes place on February 3rd, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
