Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s sketch comedy hit Portlandia returned to IFC last weekend for a special Christmas-themed episode. In addition to tackling pasta addiction and vagina pillows, the two poked fun at home studios, specifically vintage productions. In a short sketch, Armisen plays a mustachioed ex-hippie with an obsession for Brian Wilson’s recording practices. It’s one of the more hilarious scenes out of a “pretty funny” episode, but one that involves a special guest, aka the Third Man himself. Replay the scene below.
