Have you ever seen Creepshow II? It’s not very good — especially compared to its predecessor — but there’s one great bit titled, “The Raft”. It’s pretty creepy stuff, which involves this gelatinous, deadly goop that fries and swallows unsuspecting swimmers. Anyways, long story short: Black Moth Super Rainbow sparks flashbacks to that eerie short in their video for “Hairspray Heart”.

Directed by Kevin Canavan & Sara Odze, the macabre video stars Dustin Runnels (aka Goldust) as The Pink One, who essentially re-imagines “bath time” as Bert and Ernie meets A Nightmare on Elm Street. But, hey, the candles are a relaxing touch. Stream below.
