Devendra Banhart continues to channel his folk rock eccentricities with his latest song, “Cristobal Risquez”. Led by his lax vocals and speckled with acoustic guitar and woolly synths, it’s a lo-fi yet cozy jam. Stream it via French radio show Label Pop (the track starts at 6:04).
The new cut is off Banhart’s forthcoming album, Mala, due out March 12 on Nonesuch Records. Listen to its previously released tracks “Für Hildegard von Bingen” and “Never Seen Such Good Things”.
