London post-industrial trio Factory Floor have been around since 2008, issuing singles here and there, eschewing any proper studio full-length debut. Now, the DFA Records lightweight contender returns with a new single titled “Fall Back”, their first since 2011′s “Two Different Ways” 12″, and as The Quietus reports, it’s the first listen off their upcoming debut.
It’s a thick, eight minute slice of ’80s cocaine bliss, overstuffed with warbled bass and Madchester-inspired percussion that should leave dance floors scuffy and dirrrty. No jeans, no jackets, and no sunglasses for this one; find yourself an empty night, a posh outfit, and a strobe light. You have your orders.
The single will be available January 15th. Pre-orders are currently underway over at DFA Records, iTunes, and Rough Trade. In the meantime, stream the cut below.
