For all the antics and humor surrounding Kitty Pryde’s persona and quick rise to fame (she’s a member of comedy hip-hop group Jokers in Trousers and quite the character on Tumblr), the Daytona Beach native continues to impress musically. Her latest single, “Dead Island” is chill and subtle, spiked nicely by Kitty’s signature sassy and fluid flow. The cut also features a sample from Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor” featuring VYBZ Kartel.
