In the music video for “ILLuminate”, Ab-Soul and running buddy Kendrick Lamar are the sole voices of authority in a post-apocalyptic California (no, not this one). It’s a world where money is better used as kindling, tangible recordings are sparse, and survivors must trek toward an uncertain salvation guided only by video projections on abandoned buildings. On the bright side, the world has only just ended, so nobody’s as yet turned to pillaging and cannibalism! The journey toward a brave new world begins by clicking play below.
