Don’t look now, but Mumford and Sons just announced the 2013 series of their Gentlemen of the Road” Stopovers. If you recall, the band launched these mini music festivals across the U.S. last year with lineups featuring St. Vincent, Dawes, Gogol Bordello, and more.
This summer, Mumford and Sons will stage Stopovers in Lewes, UK; Simcoe, ON; Troy, OH; Guthrie, OK; and St. Augustine, FL. Each installment will feature a Friday night concert followed by an all-day Saturday event headlined by Mumford and Sons. The lineups include names like Vampire Weekend, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Alabama Shakes, The Vaccines, and Old Crow Medicine Show.
