Conor Obert’s reunited punk band, Desaparecidos, will self-release a 7″ single on March 12th featuring two new studio recordings of “The Left Is Right” and “Anonymous”. Both political cuts have been making their rounds in their live shows; the former being a rallying cry for the 99 percent and the latter an ode to the notorious hackers. Stream ‘em now (via Rolling Stone).

Next week, the band hits the road for an East coast jaunt that kicks off in Asbury Park, NJ on February 15th and hits eight other cities before wrapping up in New York City on the 26th. Check out the full docket below.

This rocks…but I was hoping for an album announcement from them, not another single. I guess there’s still hope but this makes it seem less likely.
