Last night, Trent Reznor released a new How to destroy angels_ track via text message called “And the sky began to scream”. Now you can stream that song, “How Long”, and the rest of the 13 tracks from his side project’s debut LP Welcome Oblivion over at Pitchfork. Knee-jerk reaction: It’s really dark. Also, it’s really industrial. It’s really dark and industrial, for sure.

Welcome oblivion, the collaborative project of Trent Reznor, Mariqueen Maandig, Rob Sheridan, and Atticus Ross officially arrives March 5th via Columbia Records. The LP follows up their 2010 debut EP and last year’s An omen_ EP.
