In our final video from Utrecht’s Le Guess Who?, we have Foxygen, the California retro-rockers led by the two primary songwriters Jonathan Rado and Sam France. The guys performed one of the more unhinged shows at the festival, giving the polite audience moments of confrontational goofiness. But when they turned it on, the group sounded like they were true vets.

In our video interview below, Foxygen talks about the evolution from their debut EP Take The Kids Off Broadway to their recent LP We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic and perform a raucous rendition of album opener, “In the Darkness”.
