Forecastle has revealed the lineup for this year’s festival, which takes place July 12th – 14th at Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
The lineup includes The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Animal Collective, Big Boi, Jim James, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Dawes, The Joy Formidable, Purity Ring, Young the Giant, Toro Y Moi, Bob Mould, El-P, Killer Mike, Foxygen, Wild Belle, Ryan Hemsworth, and The Pass.
Also playing are String Cheese Incident, Old Crow Medicine Show, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Matt & Kim, Baauer, Greensky Bluegrass, Rubblebucket, Mona, MNDR, Shovels & Rope, Tift Merritt, Night Beds, Wheeler Brothers, Datsik, Bombino, Moon Taxi, Griz, and Salva.
In addition to performances at Waterfront Park, the Forecastle Festival will feature late night shows on the historic Belle of Louisville steamboat and other locations throughout downtown Louisville. What’s more, The String Cheese Incident will perform an exclusive, separately ticketed late night show at Louisville’s historic Palace Theater on Saturday, July 13th.
