When out of work and overdosing on Twin Peaks, Virgina native Wesley Bunch – AKA Suburban Living - crafted last year’s enthralling Cooper’s Dream EP. Thankfully, the young musician’s found steady work since then with plenty of touring and performances. And though he doesn’t have as much time for Agent Cooper and the gang, he continues in the same sandbox of ’80s influence with “Always Eyes”.

Reverb sheathed guitars jangle on throughout, while whip-crack drums keep the rhythm for synths that burst in a shower of sparklers. The track’s warmth makes you itch for summer as Bunch sings: “I spent all summer in your eyes / why did I wait / why did I wait for? / why did I waste my time?” Don’t waste your own time; click play below.

The Always Eyes 7″ is due out this spring from Dialog Records. This week, however, Bunch heads out on a mini-tour surrounding appearances at  Savannah Stopover and South by Southwest.
