Bonnaroo adds Empire of the Sun, Solange, and more to 2013 lineup

Bonnaroo has expanded its 2013 lineup with the additions of Empire of the Sun, Solange, The Polyphonic Spree, ALO, Mac DeMarco, William Tyler, White Lung, On an On, James McCartney (maybe his pops will join him on stage?), Houndmouth, Kacey Musgraves, Cat Martino, Capital Cities, Maps & Atlases, Wake Owl, Delta Rae, and The Ruebens, among others. What’s more, singer Bilal and bassist Larry Graham have been added to the Rock N’ Soul Dance Superjam.

The festival’s music lineup already included Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mumford and Sons, Björk, Wilco, David Byrne and St. Vincent, The National, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, R. Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, The xx, Passion Pit, and Animal Collective.

Meanwhile, the comedy lineup promises Daniel Tosh, Bob Saget, David Cross, Mike Birbiglia, Comedy Bang!Bang! with Scott Aukerman and Reggie Watts, and Chris Gethard.

Bonnaroo 2013 takes place June 13-16 in Manchester, Tennessee. Tickets remain available through the festival’s website.

Certainly not much to write home about after Empire of the Sun, but there were already 60 acts I wanted to see on the initial list. So, maybe that’s a good thing…
