Last night’s new Daft Punk video not only offered the first extended taste of Random Access Memories, but also our first glimpse of the Robots. You may have noticed that their glow-in-the-dark space suits from the Alive 2007 tour have been replaced by glittery, disco jackets (not to mention the presence of instruments).

As The Daft Club points out, it appears these new suits were designed by French fashion house Yvess Saint Laurent. In fact, just today Saint Laurent update its website and uploaded a video featuring photographs of Daft Punk modeling their new digs.

In a message accompanying the video, Saint Laurent said their collaboration with Daft Punk started in October 2012 when they were commissioned to create the soundtrack for the inaugural Saint Laurent Fashion Show.

Check out the video and a few screen grabs below.

Slimane has done the suit design for them in the past. However, he moved to creative director at YSL in the time period between the last round of suit designs for Alive 2007 and now, hence why it’s all YSL branded now (Slimane used to be with Dior).
