Earlier this week, Black Sabbath let loose “God Is Dead?”, the first single off their reunion album 13. Last night, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler hit the stage for their first show of 2013 in Auckland, New Zealand, and performed both “God Is Dead?” and another new song called “End Of The Beginning”. Watch fan footage of the latter performance below.
On a side note, and as Metal Insider points out, Ozzy’s longtime solo drummer Tommy Clufetos performed with the band at last night’s show, presumably meaning he’s been recruited as Bill Ward’s tour replacement. As previously reported, Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk performed on the album.
Reuniting the group’s founding lineup for the first time in 35 years, 13 arrives June 11th via Vertigo/Republic. On May 15th, the band will make a cameo on CSI, performing “End Of The Beginning”.
Here’s the band’s upcoming tour schedule.
