Last night, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted the latest installment of In Performance at the White House, this time honoring Memphis soul music. Naturally, Memphis’ golden boy Justin Timberlake was part of the festivities, and below you can watch him lead a sing-a-long of Otis Redding’s “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay”.

The concert also featured performances by Mavis Staples, Alabama Shakes, Booker T. Jones, Charlie Musselwhite, and Sam Moore, and will be broadcast in full by PBS on April 16th.

18,000 children starve to death every single day. But you know what I really want? For my taxes to pay Justin Effing Timberlake. That would be wonderful.

Still better than our Canadian prime minister posing for pictures with Nickleback and Justin Bieber. Search “Stephen Harper singing” and you’ll never want to hear The Who or John Lennon again.
