Hudson Mohawke previews new Kanye West music

on May 11, 2013, 10:26am

Hudson Mohawke, the latest signee to Kanye West’s record label G.O.O.D. Music, is reportedly one of the contributors to West’s forthcoming sixth solo album. Last night in Poland, Mohawke previewed a pair of unheard Kanye tracks, presumably from the new album. Here’s the most audible video to have surfaced as of yet (via Team Kanye Daily).

West reportedly recorded the as-yet-untitled album in Paris alongside a number of guest contributors — everyone from Daft Punk and TNGHT to Chief Keef and Azealia Banks.

Question: why the festival is in Poland (without specifying the city) yet the LP is being recorded in Paris (as everyone will obviously know the country). Isn’t it a bit disrespectful towards the Poles? I’ve checked the news on various webpages and it’s Poland everywhere ignoring the name of the city (Warsaw btw). If the preview songs were played on Coachella would you just write: “Hudson Mohawke played some Kanye’s tracks in USA last night”?
