New York City rap prodigy Angel Haze has released the studio version of “No Bueno”, the lead single off her forthcoming major label debut, Dirty Gold. (She previously debuted the song with a live performance video).
Undoubtedly fueled by her recent beef with Azealia Banks, Haze fires back at her competition with a barrage of vicious one-liners: “I went in on bitches who dyin’ to quit/ I went in on bitches I’m hurtin’ these hos ’til they cuttin’ they wrists/ ‘Til they slittin’ they wrists with their hands on the Bible/ Yelling out Angel, I’m so suicidal.”
In a recent interview with The FADER, Haze said the album was recorded in Spain, London, and Los Angeles, with production by Markus Dravs (Coldplay, Arcade Fire). A release date is set for later this year through Universal Republic.
