Last week, Los Angeles noise rock duo No Age got our ears dirty with “C’mon Stimmung”. Now they’ve shoved out the opening track to their forthcoming third studio album, An Object, due out August 20th via Sub Pop. Titled “No Ground”, the relatively slow bake tickles the buds the way a muted television lingers around the room. It’s not a slacker anthem, though vocalist and drummer Dean Allen Spunt does ape lines from Generation-X, screaming: “I don’t work for you/ you have no clue.” Someone needs to yank away that VHS copy of SubUrbia he’s been abusing. Stream over at NPR.

Starting today, the two will hit the road for a very long and faithful tour. Consult the itinerary following the album’s tracklist below.
