pearljam jeremylarson Report: Pearl Jam to release new single Mind Your Manners in July

July looks to be a big month for Pearl Jam. In addition to their upcoming performance at Wrigley Field, the band will release a new single entitled “Mind Your Manners”, according to Revolt TV.

Australian radio station Triple M is quoted as saying, “We just heard the new Pearl Jam song ‘Mind Your Manners’ from the upcoming album and what a cracking 3-minute beauty it is… You’ll wet your pants over this. Think ‘Spin the Black Circle’. Short, sharp, hard and loud… If it’s any indication of the album that’s to come (rumored October release), the guys have picked up where they left Backspacer and added turbo charging. PJ fans are gonna love it.’”

Last month, radio industry website listed “Mind Your Manners” with a release date of July 16th, though that date remains unconfirmed.

Bleh. Most of Pearl Jam’s singles lately have been in the Spin The Black Circle vein. Harsh, aggressive, relatively tuneless. I’ll get it, as I’m a fan, but I was hoping that they might use Eddie’s melodic voice for once, instead of his constipated growl.

“i hope its good” but i’ve been saying this since 1998, so who knows if this will ever change.

I’ll look forward to the new single. It will cost a heckuva lot less than a ticket to see Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field. So what is the going price for Pearls? An average of $1,300 per, and heres a funny infographic on that ticket price breaks down:

I saw them here in East Troy WI at there 20th year concert. Cost me 100 for near front row per ticket. I got two tickets.
