My faith in humanity has been restored: Following last week’s announcement that Morrissey’s autobiography, Autobiography, had been canceled at the last second, and reports that the singer didn’t even have a book deal with publisher Penguin Books, comes word that the 600-page tome will, in fact, see publication.
According to a post on Morrissey’s True To You website: “The publication of Morrissey’s Autobiography remains with Penguin Books. This is a deal for the UK and Europe, but Morrissey has no contract with a publisher for the U.S. or any other territory. As of 13 September, Morrissey and Penguin (UK) remain determined to publish within the next few weeks.”
Hey, in the world of Morrissey, half a release is better than no release at all.
