This year, Father John Misty’s Josh Tillman joins the festivities for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event. On November 29th, Sub Pop will issue his soundtrack for The History of Caves, the directorial debut of photographer and filmmaker Emma Elizabeth Tillman. Spanning 10 powerful instrumental tracks, the LP will be available digitally, but only limited to 2,000 physical copies. 

In related news, Father John Misty has contributed to Texas producer Botany’s latest single, “Laughtrack”. Check out the bumpin’ and woozy electronic collaboration below.
