Laurie Anderson has published a short message in remembrance of her late husband, Lou Reed. Though it appears in the obituaries section of The East Hampton Star — a small newspaper serving the community of East Hampton, New York, where she and Reed frequented — the message is more a heartfelt reflection on his final days.

To our neighbors:

What a beautiful fall! Everything shimmering and golden and all that incredible soft light. Water surrounding us.

Lou and I have spent a lot of time here in the past few years, and even though we’re city people this is our spiritual home.

Last week I promised Lou to get him out of the hospital and come home to Springs. And we made it!

Lou was a tai chi master and spent his last days here being happy and dazzled by the beauty and power and softness of nature. He died on Sunday morning looking at the trees and doing the famous 21 form of tai chi with just his musician hands moving through the air.

Lou was a prince and a fighter and I know his songs of the pain and beauty in the world will fill many people with the incredible joy he felt for life. Long live the beauty that comes down and through and onto all of us.

— Laurie Anderson
his loving wife and eternal friend

Written and produced by Amy Winehouse for her debut album ‘Frank’, the soul
song ‘Take The Box’ was released as the album’s second single on 12 January 2004.
“Rarely has the world received a gift with the magnitude of artistry, talent, and vision as Michael Jackson. “This is not the best of places to camp”, she said looking me in the eyes, whilst pointing straight at some signs that hung from a make shift fence just a meter from my tent stood.

Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed
to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they just do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well
as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take
a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
