Artists everywhere have been paying tribute to the late¬†Lou Reed since he lost his battle with liver cancer yesterday. We’ve already heard from Pearl Jam in Baltimore and an all-star lineup at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit. Now,¬†Arctic Monkeys have delivered their own performance in honor of Reed, covering the classic “Walk on the Wild Side” at their concert in Liverpool earlier this evening. Watch it below (via We All Want Someone To Shout For).

Also, be sure to read what CoS writers Ryan Bray and Josh Terry have to say in remembrance of The Velvet Underground founder in their dual essays, Lou Reed: New York’s Most Courageous Rocker.
