When last we saw Pusha T, he and Kendrick Lamar were walking the streets of Compton in the video for “Nosetalgia”. Now, he’s back with another set of visuals behind his major label debut, My Name Is My Name, but this time the location is a bit more luxurious. “‘Sweet Serenade,’ it doesn’t sound really sweet, it’s pretty dark, so to capture that, we came and shot on the beach at nighttime,” Pusha explains. “It gives it that eery feel, but still soothing.” Not sure why there needed to be fireballs or Chris Brown, but hey, at least the song’s good. Watch the slightly NSFW video below.
My Name Is My Name arrives tomorrow, October 8th, via Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam. Read our review of the album here.
