Eminem did a terrible job lip synching on Saturday Night Live

Eminem made his sixth visit to Saturday Night Live last night, this time in support of The Marshall Mathers LP 2. He’s long been known to utilize a backing track in live performances, and his SNL slot was no exception. Admittedly, lead single “Berzerk” is an intricate song with several different layers of vocals, but during several stretches of his performance last night, Marshall’s rapping was noticeably offbeat. It was almost Ashlee Simpson bad.  The one silver lining? Producer Rick Rubin on the ones and twos.

Eminem later returned to the stage with Skylar Grey to perform the Call of Duty song “Survival”, which went over a little better. Replay both performances below.
