Watch: Atoms for Peace’s stunning performance of “Before Your Very Eyes” in Tokyo

In October, supergroup Atoms for Peace released an amazingly bizarre stop-motion video for “Before Your Eyes”, a cut off their full-length debut album, AMOK. While the stylized studio version lent well to apocalyptic visuals, the song translates much differently live. Case in point: a haunting rendition of the tune performed at Tokyo’s Studio Coast. Filmed by MTV Japan in November, the performance features Thom Yorke in rhapsodic form, crooning the song to percussive beats and low, rumbling bass lines. Catch the replay below.
