Angel Haze covers Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Love”, and it’s better than the original

on January 27, 2014, 1:46pm

Beyoncé and Jay Z’s Grammy performance of “Drunk In Love” may have been a sizzler, but Angel Haze proves she can tackle the hot track all on her own.

During a recent stop at BBC’s Live Lounge, the Dirty Gold emcee and singer pulled out an exceptional cover of the single, where she not only nailed Beyoncé’s high notes, but substituted Jay Z’s less-than-exquisite verses with her own scorching words of empowerment and braggadocio.
