The 2014 lineup for New York’s Governors Ball Music Festival was revealed in this morning’s New York Times, as Idolator points out. The three-day festival takes place June 6th-8th at Randall’s Island Park.
OutKast, Jack White, and Vampire Weekend top the lineup, which also includes Damon Albarn’s first-ever solo performance, Phoenix, TV on the Radio, Julian Casablancas, James Blake, Disclosure, Interpol, Foster the People, The Kills, Grimes, Spoon, Neko Case, Empire of the Sun, Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, Janelle Monáe, Kurt Vile, Chance the Rapper, and Jenny Lewis.
Update: Turns out Julian Casablancas will be pulling double duty as The Strokes are also on the lineup. It’ll mark their first live performance since November 2011.
Also playing are Broken Bells, Sleigh Bells, Washed Out, AlunaGeorge, Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike), Deafheaven, Banks, SKATERS, Wild Belle, Bastille, The Head and the Heart, The Naked and Famous, Fitz and the Tantrums, RJD2, Tanlines, Diarrhea Planet, La Roux, and The Glitch Mob.
Three-day General Admission and VIP passes will be available through the festival’s website beginning Wednesday at 3pm EST.
