Kanye West’s Red Octobers, now available for 16.4 million

on February 09, 2014, 4:38pm

The delayed release of Kanye West’s Red October, a.k.a. the red version of his Air Yeezy 2 sneakers, caused great strife in the rapper’s relationship with Nike, eventually causing him to leave the sneaker giant in favor of a new deal with adidas.

Today, without any notice, Nike released the Red October online and within 15 minutes, the entire stock was sold out, as Vibe reports. Naturally, several pairs have since been listed on eBay, including a pair of size 8s currently going for $253,640.00. Update – 6:15pm: They’re now up to $948,442. Update – 8:40pm: Make that $3.2 million. Update – Feb. 10th, 7:00am: Believe it or not, but they’re currently listed for 16.4 million.

If you’re looking for something a bit more reasonable, there’s some nice knockoffs available.
