Bush is recording new album in Dave Grohl’s studio

on March 26, 2014, 2:25pm

It’s 2014 and Bush is releasing a new album, the band’s sixth to date. After aggressively touring in support of their 2011 comeback release The Sea Of Memories, the 1990’s U.K. grunge outfit is putting the finishing touches on its forthcoming LP at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Northridge, CA. They are recording with Grammy-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who is best known for his work with Deftones, Foo Fighters, and Alice In Chains.

While there is no set release date, or even an album title, Bush did premiere a handful of new songs on their most recent tour. Listen to “This House Is On Fire” and “Loneliness Is A Killer” below, both of which find the band continuing to churn out aggressive, but rock radio-ready numbers.

2014 also marks the 20th Anniversary of Bush’s debut album, Sixteen Stone, so if you’re feeling nostalgic, revisit “Glycerine” below too.
