Big K.R.I.T. continues to roll out new tracks as part of his ongoing “Week of K.R.I.T.” music series. The fifth installment, “Egyptian Cotton” sees K.R.I.T. recounting how he got from his meager beginnings from Meridian, Mississippi to hanging out with models at the Eiffel Tower. His mix of humility and outright nostalgia is doubly effective over the silky, sax-laden beat, demonstrating a profound sense of synergy between his role as both rapper and producer.

For more from the series, check out the Rick Ross-aided “New Agenda”“Conscious Effort (Freestyle)”“Wolf on Wallstreet”, and the ASAP Ferg-aided “Lac Lac”. K.R.I.T.’s upcoming full-length Cadillactica is due out later this year.
