Tame Impala return today with a spaced out rendition of Michael Jackson’s ode to loneliness, “Stranger in Moscow”. “Fresh out of the oven,” they said on Facebook. “MJ 4 eva.” The HIStory hit might seem like a semi-obscure choice for a redo (and an interesting one, considering Russia’s current political climate), but the ballad’s drawn out tempo makes it prime for the Australian rockers’ psychedelic turn.
