Watch: Lady Gaga’s new video for “G.U.Y.”

on March 22, 2014, 9:41pm

Lady Gaga’s new video for “G.U.Y.” hit TV screens nationwide as it premiered on NBC tonight. Airing right before Dateline’s Saturday Night Mystery — because I guess that’s a hot time slot for mega pop stars now? — the clip finds the ARTPOP artist living it up lavishly at California’s renowned and historical landmark, Hearst Castle.

While vomit doesn’t make an artistic cameo this time around, Lady Gaga does enlist the help of some local, elite party experts, the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, Kim Richards, Joyce Giraud de Ohoven, and Carlton Gebbia. There’s also a cameo from a Michael Jackson impersonator.

The luxurious good times reportedly came at a price, however. In exchange for using the Castle, Gaga will donate $250,000 to help promote and preserve the property.

Watch it below.

GUY and Venus are catchy songs once you get use to them but this video is probably the best she’s directed! Great storyline, loved seeing her kick ass at the end and the locations are beautiful :)

Hearst Castle lost it’s classy image with this awful production. I had to stop watching at the 5-minute mark. Greatly done? Yikes.

Maybe ‘G.U.Y.’ isn’t Lady Gaga’s best or catchiest song, but the video sure is. Everything is greatly done and the meaning behind it is really interesting.
