Weezer return to the studio, tease new album

on March 20, 2014, 8:50am

Weezer are back in the studio, presumably to record the follow-up to 2010’s Hurley. As proof, the nerd-rock overlords have released a short teaser of new “music”. Aesthetically similar to “Back to the Shack”, the song which they debuted during last month’s Weezer Cruise, the 20-second video sees the band jamming on a medley of distorted and hyper-aggressive punk riffs, sounding much more like Pinkerton than Raditude (that is definitely a very good thing). Watch the grainy clip below, which looks as if it was either shot with a broken security camera or pulled from a German snuff film.

Useful info. Lucky me I found your web site unintentionally, and I’m shocked why this accident didn’t happened earlier! I bookmarked it.
